We are pleased to announce to have the first solo exhibition of Yasuto Masumoto at Gallery Terra Tokyo.

"Rather than expressed, such activities will be the work itself to learn that we do not know" it is his work. Masumoto had solo exhibition at Art Tower MITO, Criterium 83, 2012 and also included in the article "The Best of 2011, by Lee Ambrozy" (Art Forum, December 2011). Through workshops, dialogue and experimentation, Masumoto is making “activities” in interaction with the others, things and events. In the meantime, it occurs that principal and non-principal party turnover and as a result we are going to "learn" about the third party unexpectedly.

In this exhibition, we present the work as devices to create a “leaning” and as action by verbal instructions. In addition, performance piece occurred only opening day on the spot. Also held the "ideas on the move" related events at various locations in Tokyo, along with a variety of guests.

I want to pull in the new intelligence for overcome the trauma and the various difficulties that hiding behind the workings of every day by using simultaneously or separately from the waist down and from the waist up, not just one side of the brain. Of course, it should not be done easily such acquisition. That's why I would like to try to search and look at uncertain things. It should be not too bad if we could get closer to such intelligence by challenging again and again even it is a small step.
