The Japan Foundation organized its first Asian Museum Curators’ Conference in 2005 to provide opportunities for sharing information and building networks among the junior curators who work in the Asian region. The conference functions as a place for discussing curatorial practices, collection and conservation of artworks, and other issues that concern their profession.

The 7th conference will be held in Tokyo (JFIC Hall “Sakura,” The Japan Foundation) from September 26 to September 29.

In this year, all sessions are open to the public and will be conducted in English and simultaneously interpreted in Japanese. We are looking forward to have many people will be joining this conference. For more detai, see the official website: http://www.jpf.go.jp/e/culture/new/1107/07-02.html
