"splash" (2009); MDF panel, acrylic color, optical fiber, motor, and lamp. 90×64.5cm copy right(c) Hidehiko TAJIMA / Courtesy of KENJI TAKI GALLERY "Tile pattern as the motif of the painting without a specific meaning" is an attempt to pursue a pure visuality which Tajima had reached in a diversified modern art reached. In his new series "Play room", he expresses the shape drawn based on the illustration of a genuine airplane as a toy by plastering in a pop color. It seems pleasantly like an imagination of children. |
