Sakan KAN-NO (b.1970) is known for its abstract yet precise painting, using an extremely thin brush on urethane painted backgrounds, similar to polished cars. Aside from being a highly acclaimed artist in Japan, KAN-NO has established a reputation thorough ART HK '08 and the success of his solo exhibition in Taiwan - all the works were sold out on the opening day.
