The work exhibited in Rie Suzuki's first solo exhibition seems a painting with solid white color like the traditional monochrome, Minimal painting. However, if you have knowledge of the painting technique, you would notice that this is a groundwork to which a color is put on in the future.
Suzuki presented the purity of the groundwork of painting in this exhibition. We look forward to what color she colors to the groundwork in the future.
