This is the third exhibition by the artist in 2011,following "looking over the day"(shiseido art egg vol.5 @SHISEIDO GALLERY/Tokyo) and "See/Gaze"(@studio90/Kyoto). Ryosuke IMAMURA has ever created his works using everyday objects such as the parts in music boxes, small LED lamps, threads and reels, and so on. He has presented most of his works in the form of an installation rather than as massive sculptures or minimal ones honed to perfection. In this exhibition, however, he is going to pursue a different kind of approach beyond his former ones. His inner feelings, aesthetic sentiments and messages, or various technical skills will be hidden behind the patterns which the mechanical movements of his works make, and in the movements he will deliberately write into his works, we can read, as we like, a variety of words from him and his works. * The text provided by GALLERY IND.
