Opened a contemporary gallery in Namiki Street of Ginza 7-chome, in March of 1969, relocated to Ginza 8-chome in March of 2001. GALLERY ART POINT has produced exhibitions of many notable artists as seen in the fact that this gallery was to introduce the forefront of artists in Europe and America such as Lucio Fontana and Paul Jenkins to Japan for the first time. GALLERY ART POINT holds 10 - 15 project exhibitions per a year mainly focusing on the artists of next generation in Japan and the overseas. There, it discover, supports, and the promote artists whose future can be expected in various fields including the installation, the sound art, and the performance, etc. Moreover, not only an exhibition but also various events like a performance, a concert live, and a talk show and lecture meeting, etc. are held in this gallery.
