And she has pursued the everlasting theme "exchange of the soul". This time she described the existence undermined steadily by loneliness in this modern city full of materials and images of the ideal person mass media propagate. The following is the short story Yumiko Kido wrote about her paintings. The model is in her mid-twenties and works as a temporary employee. Her daily life is so lonely. Actually the seeds of happiness are rolling over around her. But she wastes her time without realizing those seeds. She is worried about love or human relations and frequents the fortune-teller. To tell the truth, the ability of the fortune-teller is a fabrication. But through the exchange of her the ability begins to flower. A strange interaction is born between the two. One day she visits the fortune-teller after work as usual and has a dream at night. In that dream she has a mysterious experience and wander like a sleepwalker. She awake and finds herself in her room. She is dumbfounded but at the same time feels that her soul is purified. In short, she wrote about the existence undermined by a society and the purification caused by a fortune telling of an uncertain thing. About the artworks a woman was described with vacant eyes and blood stained mouth, her warped mind was described by warping the canvas.
