There are the past works exhibited, by the three popular painters of Mizuma Art Gallery. The commonness of the three artistes might be a point to arrange the early modern motifs in the style of contemporary age by something "really Japan" such as the comics, and animated cartoons. It is also very modern that they recognize the motif that exists in the history of Japanese painting as "a past one", and reinterpret it as others' cultures. It is fun to see this exhibition such as at seeing the early time of the artists, or finding that some of the works belong to the Takahashi Collection.
