Ayako Funato（16 years living in Spain) is an artist of Spanish ceramic art, who opened her own atelier in Valencia after her graduation from the national ceramic art school in Spain.

Her ceramic art work that uses the traditional technique of Spanish tile art is done while acted as a designer of a Spanish ceramic manufacturer. This exhibition shows "BLUE" that is strong color seen in Spain, like spanish blue sky and deep blue of the Mediterranean sea.　And the appearance where energy arises from the BlUE is shown.

"Blue shows solitude and peaceful mind and also blue is a symbol of energy to face. On the contrary, the appearance which the energy accumulated begins to overflow, is shown by using ORANGE that is a symbol of energy toward outside.The projection greatly thrust out and the hole that opens roundly express man's feelings and man's life."
