An art produce duo, “mori-nomiyama” formed by gallery staff picks up artworks of all ages and countries by its own pop interpretation. This is a project from by this gallery which has endeavored to introduce the start pop art including Andy Warhol from the beginning. I want to ask the original interpretation on the selection that Katsushika Hokusai Katsushika and Max Ernst 's works are arranged together under the name of "POP". There are 16 artists exhibited; GUIDO ARGENTINI, BELLINDA, PATRICK CAULFIELD, SARAH CHARLESWORTH, MAX ERNST, GOTTFRIED HELNWEIN, KATSUSHIKA HOKUSAI, JULIA JACQUETTE, LISA RUYTER, KIM DONG YOO, MATSUYAMA KEN, HIROTO MURAKAMI, RICHARD PETTIBONE, SERGE POLIAKOFF, STURTEVANT, and FRANCESCO VEZZOLI. The effort to connect the above-mentioned artists can be seen in the hall: a large amount of piece of paper cut in pieces with the shredder are spread over the wall side of the exhibition room. This is a mass of paper like a monster, and it is really suitable for this exhibition.
