Group exhibition of 10 Japanese style painting artists; (the first term) Keizaburo Okamoto, Kei Takeuchi, Akira Nagasawa, Higuchi Koichirou, and Masahiro Mineoka; (the second term) Kajioka Toshiyuki, Norihiko Saito, Yuichiro Sato, Naoaki Yamamoto, and Yuki Yoshida. In the first term exhibition, I found a single specific theme in the works of Okamura and Nagasawa which had a tiger, traditional demon or a bird man as a motif. On the other hand, the artists of the second term seemed to focus on forming each original world on a seemingly abstract structure. Therefore, I cannot help thinking that the diversity of "Japanese style painting" could have been represented more if all works of the two terms meet together at once. Why it was necessary to hold this exhibition in this art gallery which exhibition space is not so suitable for it. The round is scheduled to the Takasaki Tower Museum of Art and the Tohoku University of Art and Design.
