Gallery Hosokawa opened in Kitahama, Osaka, in April 1997, and afterwards relocated to the forty-five years old art complex building A.I.R. 1963 Building in Nanba in July 2009. Gallery Hosokawa is acknowledged as a venue for holding project exhibitions with ‘heavy’ contents by domestic and overseas and from veterans to emerging contemporary artists. In the previous moving commemoration exhibition "New Location / New Generation", this exhibition space with a fine quality and a beautiful balance produced by the works of Junko Ishiro, Toshiharu Fujii, and Yumiko Morisue made a deep impression on us. We look forward to Gallery Hosokawa giving us further chances to encounter other emerging talents in future. Among the represented artists are Shigeo Anzai, Makoto Ito, Junko Ishiro, Yuka Ohtani, Shinji Ogawa, Yoriko Kita, Yoshio Kitayama, Takashi Soga, Jacki Parry, Daniel Pontoreau, Michio Fukuoka, Toshiharu Fujii, Takesada Matsutani, Toyoharu Miyazaki, Yumiko Morisue, and Masao Yonehara.
