The color affects, is it just my imagination to have felt the heat that gushes out among the emotional colors? Imai's painting seems to be burning as the flame, heat, smoke, and the sound shot from open-air fire draw people.
However, there is neither a painting nor the art that consists only of zeal and the soul as there is a technology in making a fire. By seeing this exhibition, Imai seems to have obtained "heating power" as the name of colors. The mass of the colors and the lines drawn over the canvas produces a swinging, and unknown "scenery" appears from there. Isn’t it romantic?
