Opened in November of 2007 by an art collector in Maruyama-koen, Kyoto. Under the concept "LIFE WITH ART", eN arts discovers talented artists from outside and inside Japan, and introduces them mainly in project exhibitions. The exterior surrounded by trees shows a beautiful atmosphere that coexists with the street in the historical city of Kyoto. The Japanese house that consists of two exhibition rooms on the ground floor and in the basement, is a rebuilding of an old restaurant in the preserved district of the old city that is protected by the government.
Among the artist introduced in the past are Satoshi Uchiumi, Airan Kang, Shingo Tanaka, Yasuko Iba, Yuko Moriyama-Wiffen, Ken Matsubara, Yasushi Ebihara, and Nobuo Hashiba. * Opened only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
