Opened in September of 2008, GALLERY IND. introduces mainly emerging domestic artists who have had little exposure, and it features experimental elements in its exhibitions. This gallery has a long-term view of fostering artists that produce artwork with a universal and enduring appeal. It is also known for the interesting way it uses the windows of the 50-year-old building to complement its exhibitions. Among the artists exhibited in the past are Mari Shimanouchi, Takahiro Inoue, Fumie Iwasaki, Shinya Aota, Atsushi Nishizono, and Eiichi Nishimori.
