“Because of COVID-19 the world has changed significantly. All kinds of barriers had appeared, yet it also opened up new ways. We did not stop, and we kept working as to find new ways of expression through art. There is nothing which can stop us.”

Newcomers of ‘Pictorial Expression Laboratory’ and ‘Dropout School(open lectures at Waseda univ.)’- both held by a painter Nobuhiko Utsumi- invite us to their debut exhibition. From High-school students to elderly people, there is a wide range of different individuals who have freed their senses and showed their fresh and strong expressions.
