Physis and Logos, Part 1

Each artist's work, from upper clockwise, Oya Akira, Tobari Hana, Sotoyama Yuta

Human beings are subsumed within nature-physis and all creatures bear nature within themselves. We create words-logos as we try to understand nature, and at the same time we are stimulated by our inner voice of nature. Here we have expressions. All kinds of expressions create their ways and forms. Sometimes they destroy these in order to evolve more diversely and richly. This exhibition is structured by three artists and each artist’s world stands out and resonate with each other. This exhibition tries to find possibilities that their relationship may still expand actively. Nature that enfolds human beings, and words that human beings have made. What is the meaning of art for us who live in between these two different worlds? In this exhibition we aim to motivate different conversations amongst viewers.
