This exhibition is coordinated by Kenichiro Isaka who is an artist and also a professor at Yamanashi University. Exhibiting artists are Isaka himself and his pupils/post graduates who have learnt or are learning paintings at Isaka’s Laboratory (Yamanashi University).

Isaka challenges photographical expressions which make「the moment which unites us with the sky」conscious in the slightest space in between real and non-real images. Minami works with the motif of plants and tries delicate expressions using water colours. Kuriyama works with the motif of fireworks and portrays the beauty of the moments with abstractness using oil paints. Koike reveals the behavior of the humorous characters in the daily spaces. Kaneko reveals the way of materials by plastic element of minimum necessary. Akahori expresses human emotions (including his) reposed in the forms of animals. Hayashi reveals the subjects of his interests around him using his own bodily measures.

The above seven artists’ expressions weave together and become the “Cross Point” which places the new direction.
