Opened in Hachobori, Tokyo in 2008, ART★AIGA specializes in contemporary art, and searches for and introduces to the public mainly young Japanese artists. ART★AIGA’s work is based on the urge to show emotional work from which we can feel real human problems and ideas of present-day young Japanese through contemporary art. Among the represented artists are Naoko Kadokura, Ayano Yamamoto, sou, Yumi Okuaki, Yuko Nukui, Mikako Takahashi, Eriko Hata, Haruna Tagawa, Tadatoshi Muramatsu, Hiroaki Horiguchi, Kikuna Mishima and Ryu Ebato.
