Editor's Note by Takeshi HIRATA

The moon drawn on a dopy screen in “Symbol” (2009), the light that leaks from door that reflects in mirror in “Mukougawahe” (2009), and “Kageasobi” (2009) draws a rabbit formed by hands” shadow (2009). They all draw "Reflection". In a word, the drawn one is outside the screen (in the case of the moon, the sunlight reflects to the moon and seem in silvery white color). It might be called a "Reflection" or a "Shadow" about describing the spectacle of the reality in a two dimensional painting space. If so, Ono depicts a light that exists outside the screen by drawing a Shadow. Or, the source of light might be the painting itself. I am chasing the shadow, but has not easily caught it yet.
