Do you find such enlarged human figures beautiful or rather disagreeable? They do look beautiful in a distance, but they turn out not to once you take a close look, don't they? With highly advanced the technique of altering digital images, it every so often happens in fashion photographs or TV advertisements to get model's skin smoother, legs longer and thiner. It already became an old idea that photograph shows the truth. It almost reveals as if, in the modern society, we believed that nothing was more ugly than the truth, which wasn't worth having a look. I finally found an answer to the question, which I had taken it granted without notion, but couldn't help doubting at the same time, working on fashion photographs and advertisements for long. The real world if full of what should be looked at. You would discover so many things new from human figures taken by digital back and expanded as much as possible. You would encounter them, as if you did a small insect which you'd never seen before, among plants in the field. I'd ask you a question again; " Do you find them beautiful or ugly?" I'd like to pay my respects to them for being models understanding such a concern, and show my biggest appreciation by saying to them "You are beautiful".
