Kenji Yokoya is an artist who transforms such packing materials as corrugated cardboards-that are only intended to be used practically-into an exquisite spacial and formative art. Wave-form sections inside the cardboard are converted to appear in the outside, and they are reconnected to create square poles. Those poles are hanged in the air standing together. By interfering each other’s movements they create shadows which then invite us into the meditative moments. Information Provided by: Gallery K Period: July 2,2018 (Mon) 〜 July 7,2018 (Sat) |
