Opened in Nishiki, Nagoya in 1994, and moved to Sakae in 1998 and opened a Tokyo branch in Shinjuku in 1998 in the same year. KENJI TAKI GALLERY introduces mainly domestic and foreign young artists, and has presented a number of internationally well-known artists to the world. In the contemporary art boom that occurred in the 90s in Nagoya, KENJI TAKI GALLERY was also known as a pioneering gallery. Among the represented artists are Saburo Muraoka, Isamu Wakabayashi, Shigeo Toya, Toshikatsu Endo, Eiji Watanabe, Tetsu Imanura, Sakuji Yoshimoto, Arika Someya, Hiroshi Sugito, Yumiko Okui, Chiharu Shiota, Kenichi Ogawa, Yasuko Otsuka, Kengo Kito, Hidehiko Tajima, Yutaka Koyanagi, Kentaro Yokouchi, Chieko Tanaka, Aiko Tezuka, Tony Crag and Alfredo Jaar.
