YUKA TSURUNO GALLERY is a contemporary art gallery active in the primary market. Director Yuka Tsuruno was born in Tokyo, graduated from Gakushuin Womens College (Cultural History) and The City College, The City University of New York (Studio Art). The gallery was established in 2009. With its keen attention to concept, context, and quality, the gallery showcases the work of prominent international artists including TIm Barber and Jose Parla, while also nurturing the careers of emerging artists in Japan. To date, the gallery has produced and published several exhibition catalogs and monogram photo book. Participated art fair includes Art Basel Hong Kong (2013). The gallery has expanded and moved into an art space TOLOT/heuristic SHINONOME newly established in Tokyo in March 2013.
