Opened in 1960. Veteran gallery in Ueno, Tokyo; relocated to Yaesu in 1979. Moved to Nihonbashi in 2012.Since the opening, the gallery focuses on the Japanese artists who have unique characteristics. Shinobazu represents large number of Yoga-ka [Western-style painters] and print artists from Taisho-period [1912-1926] to present, which comprises Toshiyuki Hasegawa, Masuo Ikeda, Tetsuro Komai, and other renowned artists.
