Takeshi Nagase is usually selecting animate objects that are flowers, plants and human faces for his motif. These objects seem to be pulsating, like that you may hear them rhythm of a heart beating when you come closer. He improved his own consciousness that he wants to express more organically therefore his works, which were got to work during a year, are high quality finished. Also, he aims to represent with realistic portrayal, however at this time, he has finished works as not only real but also dramatic that include his ideal. The object is perceived as subjectively when you see it. No one see the object from the same viewpoint. Nagase focuses attention on above point, so he draws an ideal world looks through by human eyes and he includes the essence that he wants to add on his work. Takeshi Nagase aspires to make the painting that like a pleasurable but also it has an inner fortitude, in addition with a tender. He said that “I awake to paint with a bright color especially on this time, so I needed to reconsider process of my working.” Therefore he put on a layer of color patiently and played a harmony of layers of colors with gradation using an air spray. His works, particularly “human face”, are expressed thin and a sensitive skin which can see a blood vessel. Its transparency that has a depth is represented to put on an acrylic color. This show will be composed his works are going to exhibit at his solo exhibition “real”, moreover his current works.
