Junko Hayakawa was born in Tokyo in 1970, received B.A. in oil painting from Tama Art University and M.A in printing from Tama Art University. Awarded Grand Prize in 21th Century Prints Grand Prix in 1996. Held many solo exhibitions and group exhibitions. She now gains popularity as a picture book writer. This time, her solo exhibition is held at gallery Jin for the first time in two years. In this exhibition, 30 wood-engraving prints, wood-block prints, monotypes and picture books will be exhibited.

Since 11th March last year, something like invisible curtains were appeared and they are flapping. I create my works with looking sideways at them, however, my works are same as usual.,, If you enjoy seeing my works, then I will be very happy.
