Carolina Raquel Antich: One Day |

Carolina Raquel Antich's paintings predominantly depict children—pre-pubertal figures such as thin boys playing soldiers, or a portrait of a girl whose expression betrays the awakening of her ego. Her works encapsulate the multi-faceted and readily wavering emotions of childhood, portraying obstinacy and cruelty as well as innocence and naivety, all captured with a delicate touch on canvases with large blank spaces. Viewing Antich's paintings, adults sometimes gain the impression that they are re-encountering themselves as children, accessing deeply buried, far-away memories of their own childhoods. 全文提供:Art-U room 会期:June 28 - July 29, 2012 時間:12:00-19:00.
