Opened in Suidobashi, Tokyo, in May 2005, the Up Field Gallery aims "to offer excellent and enthusiastic works to the world", "to provide a place of presentation for the commercial value to be given to the work", and "to be a magnetic field for the people who consider the art and the existence". Its focus is mainly on photographic art. Since 2007, the gallery has held a regular special exhibition series that presents the present state of scenic shots and the possibilities of expression in these. The enhanced content of the project has been highly evaluated.

Among the represented artists are Tomiko Jones, Masahiro Minato, Shinji Minami, Masatoshi Makino, sai, and Mari Nakayama.
