Artist's statement
This is a picture show of my recent works. In this exhibition, I used materials of Japanese-style painting, like Iwaenogu (mineral-pigment), or Washi (Japanese paper). I picked up women as subjects in these pictures. They have an human warmth and tenderness. And materials have also feel warmth. I want you to feel their humanity or a strong but peaceful will within a picture.
