Ryuta Ohtake is one of young Japanese artists who have been familiar since childhood with the digital images produced by computers and video games.
He seriously confronts with a new question; which is more realistic to us, the fictional world or the real world?
In this solo show, Ohtake creates his own world of virtual reality by paintings symbolizing fighters, robots, and fortresses which reminds us images of war, via his referencing of computer games.
