"Dance" by Taro Okamoto revived at Takashimaya Osaka Store after 40 years

The tile painting "Dance" produced by Taro Okamoto was revived at Takashimaya Osaka Store after 40 years, the entrance loby of the 7th flooer restaurant "Nanba Dining Maison", and the unveiling ceremony was held on the 1st of March.

The painting was first placed at the 1st floor restaurant in 1952, then moved at the time of redecorating in 1969 to the east annex, and has been preserved for 40 years since then. This restoration and re-opening to the public was planned for the 100th year from Okamoto's birth, the 180th anniversary of Takashimaya, and the redecorate-opening of the Osaka store in 2011.
