When the abstract sculptor Yasuda Haruhiko reached his late 70s, he went back to basics and had worked toward the goal of making 1000 drawings of the female nude in Japan and Paris.

This exhibition shows 100 of these drawings from the 1950s. Including are works by artist Tsuchitani Takeshi, Wakabayashi Isamu and Yanagihara Yoshitatsu artists who were closely associated with Yasuda. We also hope you will enjoy the works by Kitaoji Rosanjin (the Shioda Collection), which is part of the museum collection.
