KAWABATA Kentaro
Born in Saitama 1976. Received Paramita Award, Kamoshida Shoji Award.

Participated in The Power of Decoration(2009) at National Museum of Modern art,Tokyo(Crafts Gallery). Kawabata's ceramic works are extremely delicate and decorative. Despite of their organic appearance, there is cool and crispness surrounding the works.

This is his first exhibition at contemporary art gallery and in this exhibition, we encounter Kawabata's 1.5m large ceramic work as center piece.
