Gustave Brion (1875), oil on canvas

The museums of Strasbourg, in the center of Alsace, on the French border with Germany, are a treasure trove of famous art works, ranging from the distant past to the present day. From their collections, this exhibition introduces a choice selection of landscape paintings, from the end of 18th-Century to the early 20th-Century. This is also an excellent opportunity to become acquainted with painters from the Alsace that have not been introduced to Japan.
