These exhibitions and his works of sweets are familiar to people who are not go to museum or gallery to appreciate arts normally. Also, he organized the exhibition “Kawaii –the another life-“ which had hold at Shinseido gallery in this March as a curator.
In this exhibition, he is trying to create monochrome space exhibiting all black and white works of sweets and fruits in the middle basement of Shinseido gallery at the first time. One of the most attract for foods is brightly color, however, he cut out every color from all works he made and show us black and white world. When all the works he made are became monochrome color, how do we feel about them? We may smell fruits, or we may taste sweets in our imagination.
He is going to exhibit latest works including the work “KARESANSUI” which is made of white cream and “monochrome” which is made of black and white fruits. Please enjoy his new style expression of sweets.
