BAMI Gallery was opened by the art management company, COMBINE in December of 2008. Solo exhibitions of artists who demonstrate a free and original view of the world have been held, regardless of the genre, every other month.

BAMI means to see / show / find not only a physical space but also a place for sharing an experience, an idea, or a conception. In a sense, BAMI gallery is a place where an artist shows his ideas and receives the viewer’s criticism. BAMI gallery offers us a place for meeting and discovering, where we can witness the birth of previously unknown expressions of contemporary art. Moreover, it is a ”place” from which new art business might be developed since the activities of COMBINE attempt a new way of art management at a time when the art industry of Japan is facing a degree of stultification.

The among the represented artists are Kazuhiko Amenomori, Will Dalekson, Yoko Ukai, Masato Okuno, Kappa Chicken, Takumi Kama, Song Ji Sun, Hirofumi Tamura, Yuki Nagayoshi, Masami Hayasaki, Blue Bear Art Project, Yukio Yamamoto, Masamitsu Watanabe, Mizuki Abe, Hisashi Matsumoto, Sachiko Nakai, and Kenji Etori.
