Park Ja Hyun, was born in Daegu, Korea in 1981, graduated from Busan University in 2006. Kanako Nishimura, was born in Hiroshima, Japan in 1981, graduated from Oil Painting Course, Tama Art University in 2007. Ruri Saito, was born in Kyoto, Japan in 1981, graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design, Major in Japanese Painting in 2003. Rie Iwatake, was born in the Republic of South Africa in 1982, graduated from Kanazawa College of Art in 2006. Enrolled in Master Course at Tsukuba National University, Art Course from 2007. Four young artists in their twenties gaze at their own daily life. The motifs cut off from such a daily life, though they themselves are not strange or special at all, are tremendously transformed from the world where they were formerly belonged to the different dimension. The basis of their way of creation seems to start from the sensitive observation toward living things or things that remind us of the life. This exhibition is entitled the word "Transformation". Under the theme of this word, we hereby present the works that make a clear distinction from figurative painting merely affecting its beauty. We hope you will enjoy seeing highly motivated works of these artists. * The text provided by Gallery Jin Projects.
