“magical, ARTROOM” was opened in Roppongi, Tokyo in January, 2006, and moved to the newly opened art-complex building “NADiff A/P/A/R/T” in Ebisu, Tokyo in July, 2008. “magical, ARTROOM” was born as a new type of art space which aims at introducing young and emerging artists of Japan and Asia both domestically and abroad, and establishing a system which promotes and supports new art movements. Their activity is not restricted to exhibitions but also extends to the publication of a magazine, a music label called "Gullwing Records", media production including radio, attendance at domestic and international art fairs, and the planning of events including exhibitions and educational programs. It is a gallery where the deep appreciation of the exhibits can be experienced, and the provocative and intense activity attracts our attention. Also, various art-related events are held at “MAGIC ROOM??” which is a tea-room on the fourth floor of this building. Among the represented artists are Fumiaki Akahane, Miyuki Akiyama, Yohei Imamura, Tadasuke Iwanaga, Daisuke Ohba, Emi Otaguro, Hitoshi Kuriyama, Hyon Gyon, Takehiko Hoshino, Miyako Masaki, Yamataka EYE.
