The relationship between man and nature is at a critical situation. There is no doubt that the expansion of human society has had a huge effect on the earth’s system created by matter and life. But it is also true that we are part of nature and that our existence has contributed to its diversity and richness at some point. In this exhibition, we meet two artists. Naoko Shin cristallises the landscape of her hometown Kagoshima, its vibrant creatures and people with vivid colours and sharp blush strokes. Kazu;M captures the gradual melting of human history with plants in the urban landscape in the silence of monochrome photography. Through the works of these two artists, we hope to highlight the beauty of the mutual inclusion and exchange of life force between humans and nature.
