Installation " The white square " 2017, Gallery K

This exhibition is a ‘spatial painting ’ done by an act of drawing line tapes in the gallery space as a canvas. By assembling the meaning of a ‘line’ and the symbolism of ‘colours’ it casts a shadow of this society onto the gallery space, and it is intended to turn on the switch of the viewers’ consciousness who step into this space. It is a momentarily and temporarily existing installation. Together with the casualness of the material, paper tapes, it reduces the substantiality as an artwork to the minimum. This exhibited space is the artist’s expression yet at the same time it is also a ‘place’ where people can see their own consciousness, what is happening and what they are feeling through the artwork. Their consciousness may even be thrown into behind the work itself, and it is all an experiment.
