‘The Earth, The People and The Town’
This exhibition is a collaborative work by two young artists who seem to have contrary aims or directions.
Taku Nishimura started as a sculptor and has been developing his ideas focusing on the themes on diversity and coexistence in this town/ city community we live in.
On the other hand, Moeto Yasuda has studied Japanese painting and been focusing on the phenomenon called ‘cracks’ on painting and making two-dimensional works themed on ‘nature’, ‘earth’ and people who are involved in these.
Something natural or humanly and expressions of two or three-dimension. They are opposite in one way yet they may be able to create a space or a world by calling to and covering for each other.
