“The blink” Selected for Hoshino Shingo Prize, The Triennal Competition in Toyohashi 2017

‘Tohoku University of Art and Design- Art Walk 2018’ is an exhibition which supports the creative activities of their graduates. You can enjoy your trip to 17 different galleries for their individual exhibitions around Ginza, Kyobashi and Nihonbashi, and also ‘The Graduates’ Research/Work Exhibition Tokyo’ at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum at the same time.
Gallery K is introducing a Japanese styled painter Mana Akutsu. She expresses beauty that hides in everyday things by painting the moments of bursting energy using animal appearances. We would like you to feel in this exhibition what is truly existing and overwhelming that is neither really visual nor audible.
