Galerie Tokyo Humanité is pleased to present Throwing Dots, an exhibition of NODA Hiroji's new works. In addition to his new approach using splashes of paints, Noda continues to seek shapes that are created unintentionally as in the works from his June exhibition and succeeded to create paintings with rich texture and vivid colors.

Noda (b. 1952) graduated from Tama Art University in Tokyo in 1976. In the following year, Noda had his first solo exhibition in Minami Gallery, a pioneering gallery in the presentation of contemporary art in Japan. Among his museum exhibitions, the latest solo exhibition in the National Art Center, Tokyo (2012) exhibiting Noda's works from 1981 to 2011, was highly acclaimed.
