Survival Blanket is the first solo exhibition of designer and artist Connor Kirk. "As an artist I want to reveal myself through my work equally as much as I want to conceal myself." says Kirk who sees his work in this exhibition as being both autobiographical as well as an appeal for connection. // A survival blanket is an aluminum coated sheet normally used in emergency situations or in harsh outdoor conditions. Its reflective surface mirrors its surroundings while also functioning as a barrier to outside threats. Whether the threat is cold and rain, or family and love, Survival Blanket is an exhibition about safety.
