BISAI 2016 spring will start from Saturday, 23rd of April!

It will be the 19th exhibition for BISAI this spring. Approximately 430 items from Edo period to present are illustrated in the catalogue and many of them will be displayed in the gallery. We hope that you will enjoy this chance to appreciate artworks out of a showcase.

▼Special Talk
"Essences of art in Edo period - from Jakuchu and Buson to Kiitsu"

▼Charity Auction
During BISAI period a section for charity auction will be set up in the gallery. Five items from each category (old painting, calligraphy, and modern painting) will be put up for auction. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Japanese Council of Art Museums to support museums severely　affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
