Exhibition at Takashimaya, Tokyo in 1955 Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) is a French designer whose work covered a wide range of genres such as architecture, interior design, and furniture in attempt to connect life and art. She collaborated with the master architect Le Corbusier and produced numerous fine works. She was also good friends with the architect SAKAKURA Junzo, who designed our museum in Kamakura. * The text provided by The Museum of Modern Art.
