Galerie Tokyo Humanité is pleased to present KAZUKI Yasuo's special exhibition of oil paintings. 7 paintings from 1950-60s and several watercolors will be exhibited. Kazuki (1911-1974) was one of the leading artists in postwar Japan. Besides his famous Siberia series in which he painted the experience of his detention in Siberia as a prisoner of war after World War II, Kazuki also painted simple motifs in everyday life such as flowers and people on the street.
