In this project which is held every autumn, two students majoring in sculpture at master's degree course of Tama Art University are selected by the professors and each has solo exhibition in Gallery K. The first one of this year is Kuga Sho. His method of creating forms is very unique. Firstly he knits woolen yarn with a crochet needle, and then replace it with aluminum by wax mold casting. Finally he nits together two totally different material, the aluminum molded in woolen yarn's form and the woolen yarn itself. The heterogeneous and unusual combination of two materials makes us feel that its form is not solid or stable, but rather looks like the instant expression of the moving world. Thus he expresses his feelings of and thoughts about how the world is flowing and changing all the time giving him discomfort and skepticis .
